We've been in La Cruz 3 weeks and have tried numerous restaurants. Ala Braza is definitely the best food we've had. Ribs, Chicken wings, corn, and pineapple. All delicious and the very best Honey barbecue wings I've ever had in any county. Ribs are hiding behind the corn
We wanted to explore dining options in La Cruz de Hunancaxtle and found an excellent choice. Our meal began with a serving of street corn, which was crisp and flavourful. We then had medium rare rib eye steaks, tender and cooked to perfection, accompanied by a side salad. We topped the meal off with a side of fries and a bottle of Cabernet Sauvignon. The restaurant had a neighbourhood feel and we had a great meal.
You are in for a treat. Some of the best bbq I have ever had anywhere! I ordered the ribs and they were perfectly smoked and cooked. So juicy and a nice light sauce with a great spicy sauce on the side. And.....please trust me and get the corn. These little cobs have tahini and feta on them and are a joy. It will be hard for me not to come back tomorrow. UPDATE: Just when you thought it couldn’t get better I came back again. Ordered the ribs and corn again. Delicious. But this time I had a mojito. Such a perfectly made drink. Muddled limes and mint. Like watching your favorite movie for the first time, I wish I was you coming here.
Wow!!! This place was amazing. We are planning on coming back again. Beef ribs were tender, chicken wings flavorful, pineapple... could I just get a whole pineapple? Hamburger was perfectly cooked. Great prices and even better service. What a gem.
Our good friend brought us here for dinner and says this is the best place for bbq around. After eating Asado in Argentina, I was a bit sceptical. Was I ever wrong. Every bit as good, all the food was cooked over charcoal and and perfectly done! The Ribeyw steak was delicious, the green chimichurri was flavourful, the pulled ribs burger out of this world! The flavours were perfectly melded, shredded pork and beef patty with an amazing sauce and it was huge!!! The price for everything was reasonable and a good value in my books! If you are in the area, definitely stop in and enjoy a real treat!
My friends and I chose Ala Braza because of its outstanding reviews and location close to our hotel. We were seated right away. I was in awe as the chef/owner, Gustavo, brought out a slab of raw pork ribs, laid them on the grill and seasoned them. Of course I had to order the ribs and they did not disappoint! My friends ordered hamburgers and fries which were also quite tasty. We had 2 orders of elote - it was sooooooo good! - and the zucchini, which was also very nice. The service was great. If I'm ever in the area again, I will definitely return!
Food and service were excellent. We’ve eaten here once a week for three weeks. We will be back for the amazing ribs, wings, corn and delicious drinks. Thanks for your hospitality! Ps...the ribs come with the corn. That is not stated on the menu.
We were looking for a steakhouse and Ala Braza had good ratings. OMG was it good!!!! Everything was amazing. It's a little outdoor, family run restaurant. So friendly. We ordered a bottle of red wine, which was chilled...it was perfect on a very hot evening. The Elote arrived first and the flavor was so delicious. Next came the perfectly cooked rib eye steak with arugula salad. Tender and delicious. Such a welcomed departure from the "buffet" back at the hotel!!!! oooooohhh I can't forget to mention the home made rolls, they were heavenly! Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. We also had the bone marrow ... the smoky goodness melted in our mouths and as a finishing touch, we did a bone marrow tequila shot. So good! It was my husband's 60th birthday and they brought him a piece of cheesecake which was also yummy. I haven't even mentioned the best part...the service! The restaurant is run by a family and they take pride in their food and their service and it shows! If you want a quality culinary adventure with good service don't walk...run to Ala Braza!!! We will definitely be back!
